Greenhouse on the Hill was created from that same idea: a comfortable little home with a spectacular view, thoughtful touches and space to relax.
Come for the sunsets, stay for the slower pace — and use Laborie as your base for discovering the south of the island.
Everything you need for a comfortable, carefree stay — a cosy open-plan studio, air conditioning, a princess mosquito net and a relaxing clawfoot bath.
Step outside and the Caribbean is right in front of you. It is the perfect place for morning coffee, lazy afternoons and watching the sun go down.
We have added the little extras we would want ourselves — things that make beach days, exploring and slow afternoons that bit easier.
Step onto the balcony with your morning coffee and look out across Laborie Bay, with the Caribbean stretching out beyond it. Watch the hummingbirds dart between the tropical flowers as the day slowly wakes up. On a clear day, you can see as far as St Vincent.
And when the day is done, there's nowhere better to be than right here — watching the sun sink towards the horizon as the bay slowly changes colour.

There are plenty of beautiful places to visit in Saint Lucia. But we think there’s something special about staying somewhere that still feels like a real Caribbean village.
Laborie is relaxed, friendly and wonderfully unhurried. Spend the morning on the beach, watch the fishing boats come and go, wander into the village for lunch or simply find a shady spot and let the afternoon disappear.
And when you're ready to explore further, some of Saint Lucia's most spectacular sights are within easy reach — including Soufrière, the Pitons, Sugar Beach and the Sulphur Springs.
We'd had enough of the high-pressure, stressful pace of life in England.
We wanted somewhere we could feel at home. Somewhere we could slow down, spend more time outdoors, enjoy fresh fruit from our own garden and embrace a simpler way of living.
And we wanted an island that was as beautiful under the water as it is above it. We both love the sea — snorkelling, exploring and being part of that magical underwater world. But being surrounded by greenery and nature was just as important to us.
When we created Greenhouse, we thought about the things we'd want if we were staying here ourselves. A cool bag for taking your lunch to the beach. Beach cups and beach towels. Everything you need if you're heading off for a mud bath. Maps to help you find your way around. Games and books for lazy afternoons.
We're always happy to share our ideas and suggestions — from places we love to eat and things worth seeing, to the best beaches for snorkelling and where to hire a car. Because we've built up relationships locally, we're even able to help guests arrange a car at a discounted rate.
We don't want you simply to have somewhere nice to sleep. We want you to have a brilliant time in Saint Lucia.
Because, quite simply... we're happy when our guests are happy.
